Continuous Data Backup

Zerto enables you to back up your data without interruption with ZERO data loss, and in case of a disaster, you can instantly restore to the desired recovery checkpoint and resume work where you left off. This is the data protection solution of choice for modern businesses that operate 24/7.

The growing complexity of data, infrastructures, and increasingly hybrid multicloud environments puts your critical data and system configurations at greater risk than ever before, and the success of cyberattacks has gone from a possibility to almost inevitable.

We create an end-to-end, continuous backup architecture that protects you from all types of threats and monitor it 24/7. With a combined 100 years of experience of our experts, we ensure that you get the most accurate solution.

Wide platform and application support

Zerto provides 24/7 continuous backups without affecting the performance of the source servers.

Unlike SNAPSHOT technology, Zerto monitors the traffic flowing over the data paths between the storage and the virtual server to detect and back up changing data.

This advantage ensures that servers that are working intensively during the day are protected with ZERO data loss while maintaining optimal performance.

Instant recovery feature of Zerto makes it possible for you to resume work from where you left off in case of an emergency by activating the server you have backed up.

All you have to do now is choose a recovery checkpoint and begin the recovery.

And it also allows you to recover not only your servers, but also your files and applications, all in real time.

Zerto Technology provides protection based on Virtual Protected Groups (VPG). Virtual servers embedded in VPGs will have the same RPOs, this advantage ensures consistent recovery.

If an application consists of a chain of servers, all servers in the chain can be protected in a VPG, and during recovery, all servers will have the same RPO points.

The VPG architecture is extremely flexible and provides protection at the virtual server level. Zerto protects all virtual servers in the same RPO, regardless of whether they are under different datastores, clusters, or ESXi.

When compared to LUN-based replications at the storage level, this advantage is highly flexible, scalable, and simple to manage.

Continuously protected servers can be restored in 4 different ways:

  • On a per-server (1 or more) basis.
  • On a per-file basis.
  • On a per application basis.
  • Batch recovery (by datacenter).

Zerto’s journal-based recovery technology generates checkpoints every 5 seconds that can be used for recovery. The journal is a dynamic record of every change made to a VM that’s protected by Zerto.

For example, if disaster happens at 16:10:15, the company can recover immediately by selecting the 16:10.10 checkpoint.

Zerto provides recovery from Seconds to Years Ago. So, you can recover to Any Point in Time, Anytime, all in the same solution together.

Supported long-term backup targets are as follows:

  • S3 Storage (Amazon, Azure, S3 Compatible)
  • CIFS/NFS (NAS or Deduplication solutions)

Because Zerto Technology is 100 percent software-based and brand-independent, it can be installed in the enterprise's existing environments, protecting both the company's past and future investments.

Multi-cloud support is also available from Zerto Technology. Azure, Amazon, IBM Cloud, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud, and third-party MSP environments are all supported.

Testing backups taken with traditional backup solutions on a regular basis is a time-consuming and painstaking task.

You can instantly activate servers within a closed network using Zerto Technology without affecting the live environment or existing replication. When the responsible parties are certain that everything is in order, they can end the test and document the rescue operation by sharing the RPO report generated by Zerto with the authorities.

Advanced and practical automation features are available from Zerto Technology, allowing you to speed up both test and disaster recovery processes.

In addition, Zerto's advanced API support allows you to create custom automation.

Zerto's One to Many (O2M) feature allows you to backup a source server to 3 different targets at once.

For example, one copy can be protected on-premises while the other is protected off-premises for both short and long periods of time.
