Yes. Zadara Edge Cloud supports sovereign cloud deployments and is fully compliant with the GDPR as well as other applicable national and industry-specific regulations. Data is stored within the designated geographic boundaries defined by the customer, while data ownership and physical access remain entirely under the customer’s control. This ensures data sovereignty, regulatory compliance, and full transparency.
There is no charge for powered-off servers; billing is based only on the storage resources actually used.
Support services are jointly provided by RNG Technology and Zadara. RNG Technology delivers L1 and L2 support directly with 24/7 availability and a one-hour response commitment for critical incidents. Zadara is responsible for L3 support, proactive health monitoring, management, and updates of the entire infrastructure stack (hardware and software). This ensures end-to-end visibility and maximum operational continuity.
If required, the solution can also be operated in an air-gapped (internet-isolated) mode. In such cases, support is delivered through a controlled, customer-approved process (e.g., opening a support ticket and coordinating vendor-assisted actions), ensuring security and operational continuity without direct internet connectivity.
Yes. In a Zadara On-Prem deployment, all data is stored exclusively at the physical location defined by you, such as your own data center or on-site facility. Data never leaves this designated location unless explicitly configured and approved by your organization.
Zadara is designed with a sovereignty-by-design architecture. Data ownership, access control, and legal jurisdiction remain fully under your control at all times. The platform operates independently of public cloud providers, with no mandatory external control plane or foreign jurisdiction dependency.
Zadara does not have the technical capability to access customer data. This architectural constraint ensures that data cannot be accessed, transferred, or disclosed by the vendor, even in response to external requests. Dedicated infrastructure components and full tenant isolation further guarantee that your data is never shared or co-mingled with other customers.
